Despite pleas to the government to rehabilitate the road, commuters and drivers have complained that the Lagos-Abeokuta Motorway has continued to be a death trap due to its poor condition.

They pointed out that many drivers have turned to driving against the flow of traffic, resulting in unnecessary accidents.
