The campaign attracted party members, community leaders, political stakeholders and supporters, alongside Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidates seeking various elective positions in the district.

Addressing supporters, the senator expressed appreciation for their continued support, saying her relationship with the people of Kogi Central went beyond election periods.
She reaffirmed her commitment to quality representation, constituency development and legislative advocacy, adding that the confidence of her constituents remained a major motivation for her public service.
The lawmaker also promised to intensify efforts to attract infrastructure projects, economic opportunities and other development initiatives to the district, particularly the Ajaokuta area, which she said required sustained attention.
Several PDP candidates contesting National Assembly and Kogi State House of Assembly seats in Kogi Central also participated in the campaign.
Among them were candidates for the Adavi/Okehi, Ajaokuta and Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituencies, as well as candidates for the various state constituencies.
Their participation provided an opportunity for party members to strengthen cooperation and mobilise support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to the senator’s media aide, Mike Idoko, thousands of supporters gathered at her residence in Ihima, with many remaining at the venue late into the night.
Kogi Central Senatorial District comprises five local government areas: Adavi, Ajaokuta, Okehi, Okene and Ogori-Magongo.
The re-election campaign marks the beginning of another phase of political activities in the district as candidates prepare for the forthcoming polls.
