Four people were killed and three were injured in an auto accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Florence Okpe, the Federal Road Safety Corps’ Public Education Officer for the Ogun State Sector, confirmed the event in Abeokuta.

Okpe reported that the truck did not stop when the bus smashed into it on the freeway while negotiating a bend around the “Kara” axis.
She went on to say that the collision included 21 people, 13 men and eight women.

She stated that the bodies had been deposited at a morgue in the state’s Sagamu district, while the injured had been transferred to a local hospital.

“The corpses were deposited at a morgue in Sagamu in Ogun, while the injured were taken to a nearby hospital,” she went on to say.
