DIIDS aims to establish a foundational lifestyle business that can thrive independently of his sport.

In a recent statement, Ndidi articulated his motivation for entering the business realm, highlighting that football has provided him with a significant platform. However, he is keenly aware that there is life beyond the pitch. He stated, “Football has given me a platform, but I know there is life beyond the game. DIIDS is an opportunity for me to build something that reflects my interests and can stand on its own as a brand.”

The initiative is in line with Ndidi’s broader vision, termed “WN — Built for Legacy,” which emphasizes the importance of establishing ventures that extend beyond his identity as a professional footballer. At 29 years old, Ndidi envisions DIIDS evolving from its African origins into a globally recognized lifestyle brand.

His entrepreneurial aspirations draw heavily from his Nigerian upbringing, recalling experiences from childhood where he assisted his mother in selling fruit and groundnuts. These formative years instilled in him values of discipline, hard work, and an understanding of business. He remarked, “I want to leave every place better than I found it. For me, that is what legacy means.”

The launch of DIIDS serves as a new chapter in Ndidi’s career, symbolizing his commitment to balancing his professional football career while nurturing interests outside of it, positioning the brand as a potential cornerstone for his broader lifestyle business ambitions.
