After moving from Brighton to the Gunners in January 2023, the 31-year-old played for the team for three and a half years.

The Belgian forward has agreed to a three-year deal with Besiktas that includes a potential €2 million in performance-based add-ons and an option to extend for a further 12 months for an estimated €18 million.

Trossard made 174 appearances in all competitions during his stay in north London, with 34 assists and 36 goals. He was a member of Mikel Arteta’s team that won the Premier League the previous season.

In addition to starting all six games at this summer’s World Cup and scoring twice as Belgium advanced to the quarterfinals before falling to Spain, the Belgium international has 57 caps for his nation.
