The father of well-known Afrobeat musician Davido, Adedeji Adeleke, has given N1 billion to the Centenary Endowment Fund of the Lagos-based Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church.

The gift was made public during a memorial service honoring his late mother, C&S Church renowned member Esther Adeleke.

“We would like to make a donation to the Centenary Endowment Fund on behalf of our late mother, Mrs. Esther Adeleke, the senior mother in Israel. We are making a N1 billion contribution,” he declared.
The Adeleke family was commended by Deputy Baba Aladura Harold Demuren for their generosity and commitment to helping people.

“The Adeleke family and its members are exceptional treasures. They consistently and with humility serve the Lord and humanity,” he remarked.

The gift being made as the C&S Church, which was started by Pa Moses Orimolade Tunolase, gets ready to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2025.
