She was transported by military helicopter to India. Hasina landed at Hindon Air Base, according to sources. According to the sources, the Indian Air Force and security services kept an eye on the aircraft’s movements from the moment it entered Indian airspace till it reached the Hindon airbase in Ghaziabad. Violent altercations broke out between government supporters and police as a result of the student-led protests over a government job quota.
