FG returns 190 Nigerian from the UAE

They were received by a joint team of government representatives headed by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on Tuesday at approximately 05:57 am at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

The returnees were accused of being civil, according to a statement made by Zubaida Umar, Director General of NEMA.
The Federal Government has repatriated one hundred and ninety (190) Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates, according to a statement signed by the DG’s Zonal Director of NEMA North Central, Bashir Idris Garga.

“A joint team of government officials led by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) met the returnees this morning at 05:57 am at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

“The returnees were sensitized to behave with decorum and responsibility upon their return to Nigeria, and the necessary agencies profiled and documented them.

“The Federal Government exhorts all Nigerians to uphold the fundamental values of patriotism, rule of law, decency, and integrity, and to act as exemplary ambassadors of their country, wherever they may be.”
