The public is being asked to help the Niger State Police Command find the family of a young girl who was abandoned in Minna.

The minor was kidnapped by unidentified individuals while hawking in Kebbi State, according to a statement released by Wasiu Abiodun, the command’s spokeswoman, on Monday, March 30, 2026.
The girl was discovered on Saturday, March 28, at Obasanjo Complex in Minna, according to the PPRO.
She said in the interview that when she was hawking, she was abducted by an unidentified individual from Warra, Kebbi State, and then abandoned in Minna.

The search for her family is still ongoing.
