Galatasaray is reportedly especially adamant on having an all-Nigerian frontline by combining Lookman and Victor Osimhen, according to sources from Turkey.

According to reports, they have already looked into a sale of €55 million (£46 million or $60 million), although Atalanta’s headquarters has not yet received any hard evidence.

At first, Galatasaray tried to sign Inter’s Hakan Calhanoglu, but negotiations broke down when the midfield player chose to remain in Milan. Rather, they focused on Ilkay Gundogan of Manchester City, with whom they were able to reach an agreement, and now Lookman is their newest target.
Fenerbahce is still in the running, according to Football Italia, as the two Istanbul powerhouses compete to entice the Nigerian attacker to leave Serie A.
Journalist Orazio Accomando has reported that Fenerbahce has made an offer to entice Lookman to Istanbul with a four-year contract worth about €6 million each season.

But Atalanta is defending their position. The team has said unequivocally that Lookman will only depart for a long-term move and for a sum above €50 million.

After protesting the club’s rejection of an offer from Inter Milan, Lookman has been uneasy at Atalanta and has been practicing alone.
