A press conference was organized to debunk the rumour and show Dr. Adekunle Hassan as the authentic head of the ruling house. Chief Fassy Yusuf PhD and the Fusengbuwa Ruling house elders pledged to prosecute whoever impersonate the Olori Ebi and also pledge to get Dokun Ajidagba who impersonated himself as the Olori Ebi Fusengbuwa, prosecuted by the law.

The Fusengbuwa Ruling House expressed condolences to the Olori over the demise of the late Awujale, who approved the selection of the Olori ebi in his palace during his reign as the Awujale government and made official approval after the inauguration of the new Olori ebi who succeeded the late Otunba M.O. Balogun (Tunwase). Prof. Fassy Yusuf placed a stern warning on journalists spreading false publications to be mindful of what they write and disseminate to avoid being prosecuted.

The Fusengbuwa Ruling House members, including Oba J A Osunsami (Aladeken of Oke Ako) Oba Adeposi Munirudeen Bashorun (Orugbogbo of Imoru Kingdom), are doing fine and are the true princes and princesses of the ruling house. The Olori Ebi, Dr. Adekunle Hassan, commiserated with the family of the late Oba Sikiru Adetona, Ogbagba II, and promised the general public to bring together all the true sons and daughters of the Jadiara lineage with the support of everyone in the family and uphold peace.

Prof. Fassy Yusuf, during his speech, made it clear to the public that ‘we are not ready to do anything concerning the selection of the candidates for the Awujale stool because the late Awujale was so dear to our family.
Therefore, we are still mourning our Awujale who just joined his ancestors a few days ago.
