“We’re almost there. I know Joe is ready to go. He’s prepared. He’s confident. You’ve all seen him debate. You know what a great debater he is. And good is on his side,” the first lady told a group of high-profile donors at a Biden victory fund event in Atlanta, according to quotes provided by a pool reporter. 
 “There’s two clear choices in this election. So I want to thank you for making the right choice. Fighting really for our democracy and our freedoms and for Joe,” she said. 

In line with remarks she made earlier on Thursday in a field office in Virginia Beach, Biden encouraged the group to “keep working” as we approach the November election.
