The Hungarian Football Federation posted on X, the previous Twitter platform, “Barnabas Varga was released from the hospital in Stuttgart this morning and is currently recovering in his home in Hungary.”

The 29-year-old Varga from Ferencvaros got into a collision in midair when Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn went to gather a cross.

His teammates soon saw he was having problems, and captain Dominik Szoboszlai assisted in getting him onto a stretcher while others gathered around their injured teammate.
