The Lagos State Government has insisted on a complete crackdown on alcohol sales, street dealing, and hawking on road sides, setbacks, medians, main highways, parks, and garages through the Lagos Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC).

As part of increased efforts to rid Lagos city of this threat, the state government has pledged to maintain its existing enforcement actions against these environmental defaulters in the state.
