Saka, 21, was a key figure in Arsenal’s Premier League title defense, which concluded with Manchester City regaining the trophy.

In 37 league games, he scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists, becoming an important member of Mikel Arteta’s team.

Negotiations to extend his contract had been continuing throughout the campaign, and Saka was overjoyed when the deal was completed.

According to SunSport, Saka is now Arsenal’s highest-paid player, earning up to £300,000 a week.

“I’m just really happy,” he said. It’s been a long time and a lot of talking, but I’m finally here.

“It’s about achieving my personal goals; how hard I push myself and demand of myself each game, week in and week out.”

“Then I have all the right people around me in terms of family, and when I get to the training ground, I have my teammates and the coaching staff.”
“I believe I have everything I need to become the best player I can be, and that’s why I’m excited to stay here and be here for the future, because I truly believe we can accomplish great things.”
