As a result of his alleged involvement in a protest that resulted in the destruction of banks and the deaths of no less than three individuals in the state, Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has ordered the arrest of Adams Oshiomhole, a leader of the All Progressives Congress.

Obaseki said that Oshimohole, a former governor of the state, organized thugs to vandalize banks and disturb the calm of the state because of the shortage of naira in a statement released on Wednesday by his Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Chris Nehikhare.
