The US President, Joe Biden, has announced the US Presidential Delegation to attend Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s inauguration on Monday, May 29, 2023, in Nigeria. Biden made the news in a statement on Monday, May 22, 2023, before of his inauguration on May 29, 2023, at Eagle Square in Abuja.
The group will be led by Marcia L. Fudge, Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, according to the US President.
This comes one week after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken contacted Tinubu and assured him of the two countries’ good working relationship.

The inauguration ceremonies will commence on Thursday, May 25, 2023, with Tinubu receiving the Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic and Kashim Shettima receiving the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger.
