Speaking after PSG’s clash against Bayern Munich on Wednesday, the Spanish manager repeated comments he made earlier during the group stage of the competition, maintaining that his team has the quality and mentality to compete with any side.
According to football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Enrique said, “Do you remember what I said during the group stage? No team is better than us. I still stand by that statement. We believe in this team.”
The PSG coach used the moment to reinforce the confidence and unity within his squad as they continue their impressive run in Europe this season.
Luis Enrique also celebrated passionately on the Allianz Arena pitch after the game, similar to his reaction following PSG’s 2025 final appearance, as the French champions continue to prove they belong among Europe’s elite clubs.
