In the previous 24 hours, the Nigerian Army claims that its soldiers have achieved new operational victories around the nation, including stopping a significant kidnapping plan in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and interfering with terrorist activities in the North-West, North-East, and North-Central.
He said that during a raid on Sakwabe Forest at Bachaka in the Arewa Local Government Area of Kebbi State, members of 1 Battalion (Reconnaissance) recovered weaponry, clothes, and communication equipment while also forcing terrorists to leave.
The source added the forces at FOB Kaoje also reacted to a distress call near Bakin Ruwa, where police had captured three suspected terrorists. The source claimed military enhanced patrols in the area over worries of retribution attacks by the suspects’ accomplices.
