BREAKING: Court sentences Nnamdi Kanu to life imprisonment

Nnamdi Kanu, the head of the Indigenous People of Biafra, was given a life sentence by the Federal High Court in Abuja.

On counts one, two, four, five, and six, the presiding judge, Justice James Omotosho, sentenced them to life in prison rather than the death penalty.
In addition, the judge sentenced Kanu to five years in prison for count seven and twenty years in prison for count three without the possibility of a fine.

After Kanu was found guilty on all seven counts of terrorism offenses, Justice Omotosho delivered the verdict.
