Days after Nwoko accused Regina’s close friends and relatives, including actresses Sonia Uche and Uche Montana, as allegedly hindering his wife’s rehabilitation process in a lengthy Facebook post, Montana responded to the claims in a message posted on her Instagram page on Monday.

Nwoko claims that the people in issue would “bring her the same drugs she was being treated for” and frequently disregarded the physicians’ orders to limit Regina’s access during therapy.

“My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims,” Montana said in response to the allegations.

To be clear, I have nothing to do with the incident that has been stated. I’m just writing this note to correct the record and keep my peace.

Her denial coincides with the growing scandal surrounding Regina Daniels’ marriage to Nwoko.  Regina claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse two weeks prior, calling herself a “slave” at her husband’s house in a widely shared video.  Nwoko, however, denied the accusations, claiming that his wife was violently abusing domestic workers and that she was struggling with a “drug and alcohol addiction.”

Regina defended herself by accusing her husband of being hypocrite and claiming that he exposed her to the drugs he now holds responsible for her problems. She further said that when she protested, he locked her up, took her phones, and forced himself on her.
