The 650,000 barrels per day, bpd plant will be able to expand its fleets to 4,000 CNG trucks intended for the program thanks to further deliveries that will be received in the next few days, according to checks.

The Refinery has spent more over N720 billion to carry out its historic plan to distribute petroleum products using trucks, which is anticipated to save Nigerians more than N1.7 trillion a year.

The refinery claims that the daring move will result in the privately held refinery paying more than N1.07 trillion in fuel distribution expenses every year.

Through lower energy costs and increased profitability, the program is also expected to have a major positive impact on more than 42 million Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs).

It is anticipated that the program, which removes transportation expenses for fuel marketers and major users, will contribute to lower inflation and pump prices. Dangote will start delivering gasoline and diesel directly to gas stations, factories, and other large customers on August 15.

Additionally, it seeks to supply the 65 million liters of refined petroleum products that Nigeria consumes every day. This comprises 5 million liters of aviation fuel, 15 million liters of diesel, and 45 million liters of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
