In an interview with Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday, Fayose made the comment and attributed the party’s declining popularity to its internal strife and exclusion of important leaders.
“I am predicting that the PDP will finish fourth in today’s general elections. They are already compromised in the majority of states, according to Fayose. “So many leaders have been eased out.” They benefit from it, but keep in mind that I was a member of the G5.

Fayose also attacked the PDP leadership for allegedly undermining him, claiming that this was the reason he declined an invitation to attend the party’s last National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.

The former governor referred to the party as a “carcass,” pointing to the departure of key players. He claimed that senators, governors, presidential candidates, and vice presidential candidates had all departed.

Fayose maintained his allegiance to the PDP in spite of his criticism, saying, “I can join APC, ADC, or the Labour Party.”

According to Fayose, the PDP is hurt as a result of recent defections.
