He argued that obstructing his visit only serves to further exacerbate the plight of impoverished youths, who should instead receive support to improve their livelihoods. Obi maintained that his plans to visit were well-known to the authorities and deemed the protesters’ actions unacceptable given the ongoing crisis faced by the community.
