While Jason Kelce resigned from the Philadelphia Eagles this year after 13 seasons in the NFL, tight end Travis Kelce, who is currently with the Kansas City Chiefs, gained notoriety in Hollywood after he began dating singer Taylor Swift.
For their “New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce” podcast, the Kelce brothers inked a deal with Wondery, Amazon’s podcast studio, which grants Wondery exclusive rights to ad revenues and distribution of all audio and video episodes. Additionally, the complete back catalog is included.
The Kelce brothers provide interviews, analysis, and insight on the NFL on their sports podcast, “New Heights,” which is ready to start its third season. According to the press release, it is regarded as one of the best sports podcasts, particularly during football season.
The Kelce brothers released a statement on Tuesday that read, “We love this show, and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons.”
Speaking on behalf of Travis, Aaron Eanes, co-founder of A&A Management, stated, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Wondery for this new chapter of the podcast and look forward to reaching new heights.”
This month, right before the newest NFL season, the pact enters into force.
Listeners may still be able to access the podcast on other streaming services, such as Spotify or Apple Music, even if a distribution agreement is in place with one of them. The agreement simply states that the deal holder typically keeps all advertising and distribution rights, and deal holder subscribers may receive exclusive content or early access. Wondery+ subscribers, for instance, will be able to listen to “New Heights” early and without advertisements.
The statement from the Kelce brothers is merely the most recent in a string of enormous podcasting agreements.
