It was learned that the deceased woman was murdered since her lifeless body was discovered in a pool of blood on Sunday on her bed.
It was also discovered that the deceased had visitors to celebrate her 54th birthday a few days prior.
The deceased, who had two children, was reportedly in good health and showed no symptoms of illness prior to her tragic demise, according to a local source.
In response to questions about the incident, the late woman’s husband, Dele Adene, stated that he was shocked to learn of her passing. He did, however, voice his unhappiness with the police for not having made any arrests in relation to the incident thus far. “My wife was hacked to death,” Adene stated, “I was informed that her corpse was discovered on her bed in a pool of blood.” The fact that there haven’t been any arrests made as of when we’re speaking is unbelievable. Suspects, in my opinion, ought to have been detained.
“Her phone needs to be tracked, and I’m not sure how the building’s residents were unaware that this kind of thing could happen in an apartment building with four floors.” Tejumade, the deceased’s daughter, also said that one of her uncles had called to tell her about what had occurred to her mother. “I tried her line after leaving the chapel, but it was turned off. My mother’s brother contacted me later to let me know that his mother had passed away. The deceased’s remains had been placed in an Akure mortuary.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Funmilayo Odunlami, verified the event over the phone and stated that the command has started an investigation into the case. The PPRO said, “I am aware of the incident, and an investigation is currently underway.”
