The collision happened on Thursday, October 9, 2025, and involved a commercial tricycle with the license plate JGB-643 VD, a Toyota Camry with registration number AAB-248 MK, and a payloader. The event was confirmed to reporters by Babatunde Akinbiyi, a spokesperson for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps.

“The pregnant woman was killed instantly when the driver of the Toyota Camry lost control of the vehicle, veered out of his lane, and collided with a moving tricycle,” he said.

Akinbiyi, the payloader operator, reported that the Camry driver and several male passengers were injured to differing degrees.

He claimed that although the deceased’s body was placed at an unidentified morgue, the injured victims were transported by onlookers to neighboring hospitals in Sagamu.
