To celebrate Lindsay’s 46th birthday, she and Nick Jordan traveled to Cabo San Lucas from Reno, Nevada, to meet up with pals.

One morning, when they did not show up to discuss plans, their pals went to their room to see how they were doing. But according to their 21-year-old son, Deven Simms, the companions were turned away by police and hotel staff when they arrived at the room.

The three-child married couple’s bodies were found on July 14, according to a story published this week in the Reno Gazette-Journal.

According to Deven, who has translated police reports and medical data, the local authorities believe drugs played a role in his parents’ deaths.

“But everything I’ve seen, the amounts of what was found and tests are different in every document,” he stated to the media.

Deven continued by saying that his father did not drink and that he does not think they overdosed on drugs. However, because officials did not find the deaths suspicious, independent autopsies cannot be performed in the US, he said.

“It is evident now that we will never know,” he stated.

Deven and their 12-year-old daughter Sammy and 19-year-old daughter Haley Jordan are left behind.
According to Haley, her parents were traveling with business associates. On the first two days of their trip, they had posted photos from the resort in a family group chat.

As the mother had written, “Not too bad from our room for our long weekend!” The couple was seen grinning and enjoying lunch at the resort in their most recent photo.

“They were ecstatic to be taking this trip,” Haley said to the publication. “It’s all my mom talked about.”

Deven called their work friends with the heartbreaking news, and he told his siblings.
