Following extensive treatment at the Kano Cancer Hospital authorized by the state government, he died on Monday. His body was released from Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital for burial in Owerri, Imo State, and the handover was conducted by Deputy Director Oche Egwa, on behalf of Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
