Nyesom Wike, the FCT minister, renovated the ICC, which President Tinubu commissioned in June. The Bola Tinubu International Conference Center was the new name for the ICC, which was constructed in 1991 under the Babangida administration. According to reports, the renovations cost an astounding N39 billion.
In a recent news conference, Wike asserted that the ICC is currently making up to N700 million after renovations.
Adeyanju wrote on X today, July 20, that he was saddened by the condition of the facilities after attending a birthday party there. He claims that even “N5 billion was not put into the place for repairs” and that the air conditioners were not functioning.
