In a video that has gone viral, Aremu offered the counsel while speaking at MLF Day 1. According to him, husbands shouldn’t refuse their wives financial assistance, especially if they are in charge of taking care of the house and kids.

Aremu also talked about how he reacts to his wife’s requests for money, stating that he may first enquire what she needs it for but will give it to her if she persists.

The bishop also exhorted husbands to look after their wives and not automatically view their desire to purchase goods like gold as immoral.
