In front of the forthcoming Osun State governorship election on August 15, the political drama started on Thursday, August 6, during an All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign event. Speaking to the audience, Governor Okpebholo asked Osun citizens to remove Adeleke from office, saying the current governor is more interested in dancing than carrying out his executive responsibilities.
Davido responded early on Friday morning by criticizing Okpebholo’s academic credentials on his Instagram Stories in an effort to protect his uncle. The musician posted a screenshot purportedly displaying the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) results for Governor Okpebholo, which showed several low scores, including D7s and E8s.
