After the high-profile breakup of her previous relationship, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels said that she was no longer interested in getting married.

The 25-year-old actress was previously wed to Senator Ned Nwoko, a legislator from Delta State, with whom she had two boys. When Daniels was 19 years old, the couple got married in 2019. However, the marriage ended in 2025 due to accusations of drug usage, domestic violence, and irreconcilable differences.

Regina stated the following on a recent livestream with TikToker Jarvis:

“For some reason I have checked my mind out of getting married but I need to have a girl and I must have a girl. I feel like motherhppd starts better when you have a girl. You will understand motherhood when you have a girl child. Having boys is easy because at least you can groom them to have a role model in a father figure.

But for your girl child, you have to be that role model for them to emulate. Before I had my first son. I said, no, never. I will never have a girl child. Never, ever. But after my first, after my second. I remember, for some reason. You know, it’s female kids that remember”
