The Trabzonspor striker delivered an outstanding campaign for his side, consistently finding the back of the net and maintaining his form until the end of the season. His performances played a major role in securing the top scorer honour.

The Nigeria Football Federation celebrated Onuachu’s achievement on Monday through a post on X, applauding the forward for his remarkable goal-scoring display throughout the campaign.

“Paul Onuachu was a force to reckon with, scoring 22 goals in the Süper Lig this season,” the NFF stated.

İstanbul Başakşehir forward Eldor Shomurodov also matched the Nigerian’s tally with 22 goals after enjoying an impressive season in front of goal.

Fenerbahçe star Anderson Talisca finished among the league’s leading scorers with 19 goals, while Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen ended the season with 15 league goals despite producing several important performances during the campaign.

Osimhen’s teammate Mauro Icardi also made the top scorers’ list after recording 14 goals for Galatasaray.

Although the Golden Boot race remained tight for most of the season, Onuachu’s consistency in crucial games helped him stay ahead and eventually finish as one of the league’s most prolific forwards.
