Justice Joyce Abdulmalik, while delivering the ruling, ordered that the bail condition must include one surety who can provide the same amount.
The court stated that the surety must be a resident of either Maitama or Asokoro in Abuja and must submit the original Certificate of Occupancy of a landed property to the court registry.
In addition, the surety is required to be a federal civil servant of at least Grade Level 17 and present proof of salary payments covering a minimum of three months.
The judge also directed that all submitted documents must be verified through a letter from the surety’s bank manager within the court’s jurisdiction.
Further details are expected to be communicated later.
