Combs is being imprisoned in the low-security Fort Dix prison, some 130 kilometers (80 miles) south of New York, a facility also known for its drug treatment programs.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Combs’ attorneys had asked that he be sent to the prison, where he will remain until May 8, 2028.

The music mogul was found guilty in July of two charges of transporting people across state borders for prostitution after being arrested in September 2024.

However, a jury cleared him of the most serious accusations, which were racketeering and sex trafficking.
Before the judge handed down the sentence, which represents the time he has already served in a notorious Brooklyn jail, Combs sobbed and told the court that he was “truly sorry” for what he had done.

He expressed regret to his victims and his family, calling his actions “disgusting, shameful, and sick.”
Combs has appealed both his sentence and conviction.
