The British Podcast Awards 2025 nominees have just been announced, and the list is stacked with familiar voices and rising stars. David Tennant, Louis Theroux, Lily Allen, Angela Hartnett, and Nick Grimshaw are all in the mix, alongside an impressive wave of new talent changing the way Britain listens.

This year’s Rising Star category includes talents like Anoushka Mutanda-Dougherty and Toni Tone, signaling a new generation of audio voices pushing boundaries and bringing fresh perspectives to the mic.

Last year’s event was marked by a heartfelt moment, as Dr. Clare Bailey Mosley accepted an award on behalf of her late husband, Michael Mosley, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his acclaimed podcast Just One Thing.

Now, with public voting open for the Listeners’ Choice Award until August 29, fans can help crown their favorites in what’s shaping up to be the most diverse and dynamic year yet.
