In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Benin, the corps’ State Sector Commander, Mr. Preye Bedford, revealed this.

He claims that the absence of a formal invitation from the election stakeholders is the reason the command was left out of the exercise.

“It has nothing to do with my command. The official stated, “Well, we weren’t invited.”

The official stated that regular activities would have been interrupted in response to how the corps would manage the 12-hour mobility limitation, which was set for 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Bedford clarified that before deciding on any traffic control measures, the command will evaluate the circumstances.

He stated, “We will only evaluate the situation before we know what to do.”
