Aisha Abubakar, a lady, was reportedly detained by security forces in Katsina State for allegedly supplying ammo to militants.

Zagazola Makama, a security analyst and expert in counterinsurgency, reported the occurrence on Monday.

Makama claims that the ammo was found when Abubakar’s luggage was routinely searched.

“During a routine search, the authorities found the ammunition in her luggage,” he said.

Further interrogation revealed more details about the intended destination of the ammunition.

At first, the suspect denied having anything to do with the unlawful behavior. Makama stated that she subsequently acknowledged her involvement in the operation, nevertheless.

Makama clarified, “She initially denied involvement but later admitted to being the one delivering the ammunition to the terrorist group from Nassarawa state.”
Additional information regarding the ammunition’s intended use came to light during further questioning.

“The suspect confesses that she was heading to Yan Tumaki in Dan Musa LGA in Katsina state during the course of interrogation,” Makama said.

“The event emphasizes the necessity of vigilante action in stopping the spread of illicit weapons and the continuous efforts to combat terrorism,” he stated.
