Kuti Seun A groundbreaking song called “Dey” is about to be released by Damian Marley, the son of legendary reggae musician Bob Marley, and Fela Kuti, the pioneer of Afrobeat music.

Nigerian celebrities Wizkid and Bloody Civilian were included on the soundtrack of the Bob Marley film “One Love,” which was released earlier this year. When asked by the media at the film’s premiere which Nigerian musicians her grandfather would have preferred for him to collaborate with, Bob Marley’s granddaughter Zuri Marley named Fela Kuti and Burna Boy.

The new song, “Dey,” which features Damian Marley and Seun Kuti’s Egypt 80, promises to be an Afrobeat and reggae fusion that will appeal to listeners all over the world.

The song, which is scheduled for release on June 26, 2024, precedes Seun Kuti’s upcoming album, which the Grammy-nominated Afrobeat artist confirmed will include legendary American music producer Lenny Kravitz serving as executive producer.

Seun Kuti worked with a number of international celebrities, such as Janelle Monae on her Grammy Album of the Year nominee, “The Age of Pleasure.” It is anticipated that he would collaborate with respected musicians from around the globe on his next album.
