According to a statement issued by the Zazzau emirate council’s Media and Publicity officer, Mansur Nuhu Bamalli died in a private hospital in Lagos while on his way to Morocco.
The message states that “funeral prayers will be announced later.”

He leaves behind a wife and two children.
