The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, Ondo State chapter gets acting chairperson

The Ondo State chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists has nominated Mrs. Tola Gbadamosi as the organization’s interim chairperson.

This information was provided in a statement released on Friday and signed by the association’s Secretary, Oluwatosin Ighoteguono.

With Ms. Doris Olumoko’s transfer to Abeokuta, Ogun State as Manager News, NTA Abeokuta, Gbadamosi took over as the association’s chairperson for Ondo State.

The organization respects Mrs. Olumoko’s dedication, efforts, intelligence, and tenacity in making sure the association in the state runs smoothly.

In her programs, Olumoko promoted the rights of women, widows, and young girls up to her departure from the state’s association.

It exhorts the interim chairwoman to accomplish more with association executives and members while waiting for the appointment of a permanent chairperson.
