A Federal High Court in Lagos issued an order requiring Roger Brown, the chief executive officer of Seplat Energy PLC, to resign.

As a lawsuit brought by resentful corporate stakeholders against Brown and others is being adjudicated, the court stopped Brown from further representing himself as the firm’s CEO.

The resentful parties charged Brown with violating the good government code, racism, favoritism for foreign workers, discrimination against Nigerians, and discrimination against other ethnic groups.
