Kano government imposes a 24-hour curfew.

This was said in a statement released on Thursday by Sunusi Tofa, the governor's spokesperson. The announcement claims that the decision was made following a meeting of the Emergency State Security Council, which was devoted to discussing the growing unrest and violence that have resulted from peaceful protests. Tofa claimed that during the emergency meeting, everyone agreed to impose a curfew in order to protect lives and protect both public and private property. "This curfew is an essential step in reestablishing order and safeguarding community safety. "We must protect our citizens from additional harm and uphold the integrity of our state's businesses and institutions," he declared. "Let us not let the actions of a few self-centered individuals to drive a wedge between us. Together, we can overcome these obstacles and strengthen our commitment to creating a more robust and resilient Kano State," the speaker stated. The statement said that for everyone's safety and well-being, all state security services have been instructed to guarantee that the curfew is strictly adhered to. Residents are advised to follow this instruction. Hoodlums earlier plundered the recently constructed Nigeria Communication Commission Industrial Park in Kano State, according to NAIJA STREET MATTERS.
