The federal government led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received a new threat from organised labour. The Federal Ministry of Justice and the National Industrial Court have come under fire from the leadership of the NLC and the TUC, who have threatened to strike if the federal government does not drop its lawsuit against the labour union. NLC president Joe Ajaero called them “agents of anti-democracy” for their actions.
