A digital image with text warning Muslims against breaking their fast with carbonated beverages has surfaced on social media. It is purported to be from Dr. Adib Rizvi, a prominent kidney specialist at Civil Hospital, Karach.

Particularly, the message is being spread on WhatsApp, a free messaging and video chatting service that is used monthly by more than 2.24 billion people worldwide.
