A complete and indefinite strike has recently been launched by the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors.

Just 24 hours have passed since Tajudeen Abbas, speaker of the house of representatives, and I met in Abuja.

In order to allow for more negotiations, the speaker had begged with the doctors’ union to call off their scheduled strike.
