The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), has asked the Senate to approve a proposal to pay the Federal Government’s judgment debt of $566,754,584.31, £98,526,012.00, and N226 billion by the issuing of promissory notes.
Senate President Ahmad Lawan read Buhari’s letter of request in plenary on Wednesday.
