Isabelle Sava, a gifted 19-year-old law student at Queen Mary University in Mile End, East London, and a taekwondo world champion, has tragically passed away, allegedly due to cardiac arrest while sleeping. Emergency services discovered her unconscious and attempted to revive her, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

Isabelle was the cherished only child of Laura and Ovi Sava. In response to the heart-wrenching loss, family friend Adriana Agache initiated a fundraising campaign to support the grieving family, stating, “It is with an incredibly heavy heart… facing every parent’s worst nightmare – the sudden and unimaginable loss of their beautiful and only daughter, Isabelle.” The fundraiser emphasized Isabelle’s promising future and the impact of her sudden death, which has left no words to encapsulate the family’s grief.

At the time of her passing, Isabelle was preparing to enter her second year of studying LLB Law, with aspirations of becoming a commercial lawyer. Her commitment to her studies was clear; she was actively engaged in multiple university organizations, including the Law Society, Commercial Awareness Society, and the Student Advancement Society, while also contributing as a Student Blog Writer for the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre. Notably, she had published a legal article through the Centre in 2026, showcasing her dedication to the field.
