Tottenham Hotspur has finalized a deal with Manchester City to acquire winger Savinho for £75 million, with an additional £10 million in potential performance-related add-ons. At 22 years old, Savinho is set to undergo a medical examination before signing a long-term contract in north London. He joined Manchester City from Troyes in 2024 for €40 million and has since made 53 appearances, contributing two goals and 12 assists. Tottenham previously attempted to sign Savinho last summer but was unsuccessful as he chose to remain and compete for a place in the squad.

The signing of Savinho marks a significant addition to Tottenham’s roster and pushes their total summer transfer expenditure over £300 million. Under the management of Roberto De Zerbi, the club has significantly strengthened its squad by bringing in several notable players, including Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, and Jan Paul van Hecke, along with free-agent signings such as Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson, and Martin Dubravka. In contrast, the club has managed to recover approximately £140 million from player sales, including notable departures like Luka Vuskovic, Cristian Romero, and Djed Spence, as they continue to reshape their team.
